Beach Elopement at Sunrise | Ashley + Chad

Ashley and Chad’s beautiful beach elopement was in Stuart, Florida at the House of Refuge. They had a quick sunset session the night before and sunrise portraits the day of their elopement. The days were filled with so much love, sharing the joy with their children, and even a surprise a few days later.

Sunrises in Florida are stunning. Especially when they are for a Beach Elopement! They had the most incredible wedding and shared the day with their children in such a special way. Keep scrolling to see why Sunrise is just as beautiful as Sunset here in Florida.

These two met several years ago and immediately clicked. They met online and matched right away. Although there was a little bit of distance as she was living on the east coast of Florida, and he was in Orland they knew right away they wanted to build a life together. There was no doubt. After they met, they started dreaming together about their future. Ashley and Chad both planned on having a ton of kids. When Ashley was 5 months pregnant, they were planning to elope in the mountains of Montana. But they got a call that Chad’s dad needed emergency surgery. He was diagnoses with terminal cancer, so they put their plans on hold and rushed to take care of him. Unfortunately, he passed away several months later. Shortly after  their son was born. They put love and energy into their family and life moved forward. In that time, they had 2 more children and so now they have a son and 2 daughters.

Ashley and Chad plan on growing their family even more but they wanted to get married first. So, they decided to have a beach elopement in Stuart Florida.

Ashley planned a beautiful stylized dreamy intimate sunrise beach elopement. They really expressed wanting it to be intimate and not a ton of people around. They didn’t want a large audience and to just really focus it on being present with each other. The night before we tried to get some intimate candle-lit water photos but due to travel and traffic, we managed to get just a few photos at the end of sunset into the blue hour. The next morning, they both woke up early for sunrise. And we got some incredible portraits with just Ashley and Chad.

It was such a memorable morning. Their kids got to experience the joy with their mom and dad.

When they got back to their hotel, they got ready with the kiddos before the ceremony. It was super cute. The kids are just darling. Ashley had all these sweet details and robes for the girls. They were jumping on the bed and having fun together.

Let’s talk about both of Ashely’s dresses! Yes, two dresses! The first dress that she wore for the sunrise was amazing. It was actually two Lulus dresses that she took and put together. She had a seamstress add a train to the first one from the fabric of the second dress. Her vision was perfect! It is so epic and every time I post the photos on Instagram everyone is always asking about the dress. The second dress she put together was two different SHEIN dresses and it looked super cool a well. I just loved her creativeness with her dresses.

During their intimate family ceremony, her son walked her down the aisle. It was a super sweet moment. Every step of the day they involved their kids, and it was so memorable and special.

It was a beautiful sunrise elopement. To have their children there and witness and just feel the joy. As well as finally becoming husband and wife! But wait I didn’t share the big surprise! 2 days later after their wedding they found out she was expecting. So, she was actually pregnant during their wedding. So, it was a pretty special morning and celebration.

I love how each of my couples embraces their story and day 100% in the best way for them. From stunning dresses, sweet moments with family and their children, and to all the stunning visions that come to life before my camera. I want to help you do the same! Send me a message and let’s start planning your intimate elopement or wedding.
