Pelindaba Lavender Farm Wedding | Yomi + Natalie

I couldn’t have picked a better way to celebrate my birthday than this Pelindaba Lavender Farm Wedding. It was super special. With 200 guests from all over the world, 10 bridesmaids, and 10 groomsmen you could feel the love and support for Yomi and Natalie. It was such an extraordinary celebration!

It was such an honor to be a part of this Pelindaba Lavender Farm Wedding. To witness these two completely different cultures coming together for the love of Yomi and Natalie.

These two are such an awesome, super fun, loving, and excited about life kind of couple! Yomi is Nigerian and had family come in from Nigeria and all over the world. Let me tell you this was no easy task. His guests were 100% dedicated and ready to support these two no matter what. Friday Harbor is a town on the San Juan Islands. It takes an hour to get there by ferry. And is 2 hours from Seattle, Washington. It’s definitely a mission to get there.

The fact that 200 guests came from all over the world really spoke a lot about these two; and all the love and support that they have. It was absolutely amazing.

The night before they got married they had a traditional Nigerian ceremony. This ceremony is so much more than the celebration of two becoming one. It is two families joining together as one. This night was full of bright colors, music and traditions. It truly was such an honor to witness these two completely different cultures coming together for the love of Yomi and Natalie. It was so beautiful. I cried a lot that night. It touched everyone in that room.

To be a part of a Wedding so huge, with lots of people and for it to be an easy going day truly is magical.  They put so much attention into making it fun that there wasn’t a moment you didn’t find yourself with a big goofy grin on your face!

Their wedding day took place on Friday Harbor at the Pelindaba Lavender Farm. It is a stunning location for a wedding and the smell in the air was revitalizing. They had an outdoor ceremony with the sweetest vows. During their grand entrance Natalie used the money gun she brought and it was hilarious! It was a remarkable evening celebrating and dancing. I will never forget this wedding.

If you’re planning your own San Juan Island Wedding make sure to check out this Roche Harbor Wedding also in the San Juan Islands. Or ready to reserve your date? Reach out! I want you to have any and all of the information you need as you make this big decision.

Love, kim Stanton
